ASSI is committed to reducing the effects of manufacturing on the environment through our own “sustainable manufacturing initiatives”. Our facility is designed to maximize natural lighting and ventilation. We recycle all material byproduct including water reclamation and purification, stone, wood, and paper products. ASSIF utilizes some of the most advanced air purification and dust collection systems in the industry. These systems help keep the shop healthy and comfortable for our employees. Further, energy and waste reduction in our office and administrative functions is a constant focus.

Our History

We have been one of the leading fabricators in the Washington/Baltimore area for over 25 years.  Founded in 1983 by Bob Hazlett, we are still one of the original wholesalers to the trades for the supply of fabricated surface materials including Natural Granite, Quartz and Solid Surface products.  Mr. Hazlett is the President and continues to be active in the day-to-day operations of the company.
